How the battery was initialized<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As explained in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fly-air3.com\/ufaqs\/battery-life-and-maintenance\/\">battery lifespan and maintenance FAQ<\/a>, battery capacity is optimal when 3 full charge and discharge cycles are performed the first time the battery is used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Display theme<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Using a black theme increases battery life by 30%. Not everybody likes it, but it uses much less energy. This significantly reduces the average brightness level compared to flying at full brightness all the time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Adjust brightness manually if needed.<\/strong> Brightness widgets and +\/- buttons are easily accessible, so you can adjust energy consumption according to your needs and the duration of your flight.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Turn off the screen when you don&#8217;t need it.<\/strong> A short click on the power button turns off the screen only \u2014 tracking, live tracking, and acoustic audio all remain active. With the screen off, battery life can be counted in days. So if you are on a very long flight and have already used an important part of the battery, turning off the screen this way whenever you have the chance will add hours to your battery life.
