However, the simplest way to upgrade your apps is either to use Google Play or to use AIR³ Upgrader.
When an app is pre-installed on the tablet as part of the firmware, Google Play does not always automatically take control of the app.
To make sure that automatic updates work correctly, the customer needs to do the following at least once for each app:
- Open the Google Play Store. Add you account if not yet done.
- Search for the app.
- If an update is available, install the update from Google Play.
- Once the app has been updated through Google Play at least once, future updates will be handled automatically by Google Play, provided that automatic updates are enabled.
If the version installed on the tablet is already the latest version available on Google Play, Google Play may not take ownership of the pre-installed APK automatically.
What if the app is already up to date?
In this case, the customer should:
- Uninstall the app (if possible), and then install it again from Google Play; or
- If uninstalling is not possible, use the appropriate Google Play installation procedure to install the app from the Play Store.
Once the app has been installed or updated through Google Play, it will be properly associated with the user’s Google Play account and future updates can be installed automatically.
Important
This initial Google Play installation/update is only required once. After that, as long as Auto-update apps is enabled in Google Play, the app should be updated automatically whenever a new compatible version is published.

XCTrack can be upgraded through Play Store. Note that the version of XCTrack may not be the latest version while upgrading through Play Store.

N'oubliez pas d'activer également votre inscription au programme Bêta de Play Store en rejoignant le beta.
Instructions spécifiques:
AIR³ est fourni avec une licence perpétuelle de XCTrack Pro. Cette licence est fournie via un fichier situé dans le dossier Bootstrap. Ce fichier d'amorçage est unique et directement lié au numéro AIR³.
Si vous désinstallez XCTrack Pro avant d'installer la nouvelle version, le fichier Bootstrap (.xcbs) peut être supprimé. Enregistrez d'abord ce fichier avant de le désinstaller.
